More to the point why have i done it ? Do i really have anything to say that is worth reading - a lot of people use them as a platform for ranting and putting the world to rights so i do'nt think i will have any problems there !

I am 49 years old - a self employed arborist ( tree surgeon ) specialising in hedge laying - i also undertake bespoke woodworking commissions making planters out of tree stumps and chain-saw carving projects generally involving natural-history inspired objects and 'Green Man ' type stuff...

I live in the West Midlands region just West of Birmingham with my girlfriend - I have finally got round to selling my house which fortunately has equity on it and am in the process of commissioning a basic 70 foot narrowboat to liveaboard whilst working and cruising locally - it will be an interesting project especially with 3 dogs to contend with !

I am passionate about my dogs - i own 3 Staffordshire Bull Terriers - Mother/Son/Daughter...

Hobbies include anything natural-history particularly Ornithology and Botany

Here is probably the most famous SBTerrier who won Crufts in 1937 only 2 years after the breed was recognised - his name was ' Gentleman Jim '
